Kids learning to use their quill pens while writing their lists of things they are grateful for. Celebrating Thanksgiving this week. (Many of the students wrote that they are thankful for Light! Not surprising up here at 66.8 degrees North! It's getting darker and darker every day.)
Like how you got that first quill really in focus. - that's funny about light - I can see how that would be on their mind - especially this time of year.
Am pleased that there are young diehards in the making with their quill pens. I remember pens with nibs and inkwells stuffed with paper. Everything we tried to write was a map of blots. However am a diehard and when I'm writing for pleasure...cards, letters and for myself I always write pen and ink. Otherwise pencil.
Joan, thank you for following me. I'm so glad you did or I wouldn't have had a glimpse of your interesting and challenging life. Gladly following you.
@s4sayer Thank you so much, Margo! I'm glad I found YOU! Your part of the world fascinates ME. I've thoroughly enjoyed following Richard's inspiration and appreciate all his supportive comments. I look forward to your view of the world!
