Not Quite

Walked to the Post Office at 11:07. Official Sunrise is 11:57 today and Sunset will be 2:42. Got to the post office and can't mail any packages because the meter has been broken, and no Christmas stamps in stock...yet. Ahhhh, life in the Bush. :-(

Beautiful, it must be a very interesting experience for you living in somewhere so remote in an extreme climate.

Joan, I wish you would write a book! It always sounds so fascinating! Even a simple story of going to buy a stamp! Great picture, captures the harsh weather so well.

Lovely shot I must remember how short yourvfsys are the next time I moan about a lack of light! We get around 8 hours of day light at the moment.

Beautiful sunrise against the snow Fav.

The only positive I can think of is you don't have to get up early to get a sunrise shot! :) Really do think this is quite pretty - but it's hard to believe you manage so well with the silly little things that shouldn't be happening in the US - like Alaska isn't a part - Do admire you!
