New Year Word: PRACTICE! These are just a few titles that represent some of the skills I need to practice. In no particular order, and there are definitely gaps in this reading list, but this is my starting place for 2017! Thanks to Richard @vignouse for suggesting a month of nifty-fifty!
I love your reading list (and your word for the year -- I do that too, but I haven't picked one for 2017 yet). I like your knitting books. I'm taking a sock-knitting class this winter. I'm so excited about that!
great pile of books Joan, Have just checked out Quilts! Quilts!! Quilts!!! and I can borrow it from our local library. Thanks for the lead :) Hope you can find some time to work on your skills
What a splendid idea! Need to practice much, much more with photos etc. Am much encouraged by what I see others achieve. Knitting is my thing...without seams. I love it and haven't had time to do any since I started 365. SIGH!

Knitting socks is great fun and there are so many styles and shapes to choose from. I do hope you enjoy it.
