Had to wait on permission to post this one. Photo taken of a skype "snapshot" captured while talking to my mom on her birthday. My first time on skype and I loved the snapshot feature - allows you to get candid shots of who you are talking to, rather than pointing a big camera at them! At the time it was captured, there was still natural light coming in through the window in her timezone. Had to edit away the laptop screen lines by applying a soft focus. Also converted to b&w to get rid of the harsh screen colouration and then xprocessed a bit.

lol - your titles make me laugh. This is great quality for a skype shot!! My relatives looks like blurry blobs on our screen. I won't post pics of that.
i love skype! but about your picture, i like how this turned out and I love that she just looks happy and natural, not fake and posed. also she has a great smile!
