I noticed awhile ago that this abused and abandoned rose was, unbelievably, still hanging out in the same spot (original photo taken more than 2 months ago: http://365project.org/jgoldrup/365/2011-04-05). I thought I was taking a pretty similar shot to the original, but missed the mark entirely. Good excuse to edit the heck out of it, I thought.
