I honestly haven’t been searching out risque baked goods to photograph – it’s just happened that way. These cookies were being sold at a fundraiser for Pink Velvet, Halifax’s burlesque troupe, to travel to Toronto in July. If you live in T.O., you might want to check out the Burlesque Festival…? I personally think the cookies look more like strippers than burlesque performers. I guess it’s a fine line, depending on one’s style of burlesque.

Edits : Picnik things, including their 4th of July features ‘bokeh stars’ and ‘red white & blue’ gradient effects. Who knew the 4th of July could create a strip club vibe?
haha Janna you do find some funny baked goods! stripper/burlesque performers, yeah these could be either. the one in the middle is especially funny
