We had a full day of driving. We booted it out of Fes on the N13, through the Middle Atlas Mountains, to the Sahara desert near the border with Algeria. Luckily missed a snowstorm while in the mountains that eventually closed the highway. There was some beautiful scenery along the way, but much better views to come in the High Atlas Mountains a couple days later.
