At the tail end of the latest Switch Open Street Sundays event in Halifax, I was able to get away from my busy volunteer position and take a ride up the route. The street was almost empty by this time, but at least there was still some evidence that people had indeed been out on the car-free street, using it in non-vehicular ways.
