I like the sharp frosticles (if that is what they are called), although I think the subject is a bit overwhelmed by the background.

Looks okay to me. I had a shot very similar once but used with another layer on top could work magic.

@sjoyce @keeptrying I know what Steve means - the background is very busy. I wasn’t too sure about it myself. It looks better in mono than colour.
