rowan berries

The rowan trees are heavy with berries just now. A feast for the birds. I used to make rowan jelly in the past - but lack the motivation for it now as it's so fiddly and time-consuming.

I've noticed the rowan trees are loaded this year, good sign or bad but they look really beautiful to look at.

These are so beautiful and such a vibrant colour. I've never made Rowan jelly but I do have a jelly bag and regularly make redcurrant jelly.
