This morning my friend and I went up the funicular railway to the top of Cairngorm mountain. It was one of those spontaneous decisions that turned out brilliantly. The view was so clear after yesterday's rain (although bitterly cold in the wind). A joy of an expedition.
You can see some of the ski runs here. Soon the snow will be covering this bit of the mountain.
