In honor of Groundhog Day - although this is a hedgehog stuffed animal. Groundhog Day is a traditional holiday celebrated on February 2nd. According to folklore, when a groundhog emerges from its burrow and does not see his shadow then the spring season will come early; if he does see his shadow then winter weather will persist for six more week. Today the groundhog DID NOT see his shadow.
And I was thrilled to hear he did NOT see his shadow! Seems like he's seen it the last several years.
