I don't know the real name for this fly, we know it as the poo fly as it is often seen sitting on dog poo. Today we are fortunate that it's sitting on a yellow flower, makes for a much more appealing shot.
You're so funny! Having 2 dogs I could probably have provided the alternative photo! Such a good shot.....but made hilarious by your description ! I will always think of them now as poo flies! So funny.
