The lavender fly.

I have featured this fly before but under it's other name, some may remember it. It has spent more time on flowers and less time on poo lately.

I'm a bit of a fly fan myself! We actually call these 'bluebottles' Not sure if that's their world wide name or just an English thing? He's great! Such sharp focus....he looks far too posh to have ever been anywhere near poo!
