I have been waiting for the moss to grow this winter so that I could try some moss macros. Not that easy, I really struggled to get a sharp image that I liked. The water drop and the bokeh appealed to me in this one though.
Lovely. My photo today is of moss too! I've found that just the size of a water droplet can bring it out of the focus range. Sounds ludicrous - but when you are this close, with something so small I suppose every nth of a millimetre counts! Your moss looks like it is reaching up for more water. Hope you get some more moss shots this winter :)
@littlequeenie Thank you, I know what you mean with the focus, I really did struggle to get the focus I was happy with, but I guess that's the fun of shooting macro. I keep checking my miss patch daily to see if there has been any changes, still searching for the ultimate moss shot.
@jodies Goodness. Thank you for your lovely comment! Moss has so much to offer. A slight twist of the focus ring can change the image completely. Add raindrops/dew, light. Happy days! You certainly don't need to aspire to me x
