You can see where they get the name! This one wasn't too keen on me getting close.
Mostly they are all bluff and bluster

Lovely shot Jodie. This fellow looks a bit different to our Eastern Blue Tongues. Do You know if he is a Western Blue Tongue? I couldn't find a good match for him on Google

@terryliv Thanks Terry, this one is most likely a bob-tail or shingleback, so quite different to the skinks on the east coast. Apparently they are all part of the blue tongue family.
