A shrubbery symbolizing the earth, I love it. Pessimistic quote because it's not dead yet. Baffling why the originators of Earth Day didn't pick the spring solstice, which is virtually always on April 21. Instead they picked the 22nd, which, unfortunately, is Vladimir Lenin's birthday.
