I glanced out of the garden door to see these striking vapour trails. I hope the planes were far apart when they crossed!
Throughout the rest of the afternoon the sky was streaked with these trails in all directions. We're not that far from Heathrow, Gatwick and Southampton airports. The air must have been unusually stable..and cold.
