Tin Machine

"Tin Shop" - Painted on the back side of the historic Independent Order of Odd Fellows Building.
There must have been a tin-plating shop once on the 6th Avenue side at one time. I could find no reference to one, however, through a cursory Googl-ing.
This shot has special significance to me, with regard to my Project 365, in that I have been "holding it in reserve" for almost the entirety of my project. Some time during my first week I photographed this but something else trumped it for that day. I decided then that I would remember it and "hold it in reserve", walking the one block over from my building to shoot it if for some reason I did not find anything suitable to shoot one day.
I never found reason to use it. But I wanted to use it.
Nearing the end of my year-long project, I decided that this shot would be #365, my final shot.
Will I start another year-long project? If I do, it will begin March 1st.

John, congratulations on the year! Take a month off and then come back. Don't leave us. I, for one, have enjoyed seeing your San Diego photos -- I miss being there!

@luvmynynix Thanks! Yeah, I took the remainder of February off from Project 365, but now I am back- wanted to start a new year on an "even" day, like the beginning of the month. I had considered putting some new twist on this second year but could not come up with anything that really rang my bell. Sooo...more of the same with an eye towards new ideas.
