I like the painting very much! In the black silhouettes, I can envision flamingo shapes... So there's MY Rorschach test for today!

I love your titles, even though they're private to your understanding. Thank you so much for sharing your painting, John. The colors of this are reminiscent of a lady bug.

@Weezilou @yogisue @cejaanderson Julia Marie is someone close for whom I painted the piece for. It is she. My interpretation of her from a photo.

@jrambo001 Oh John...I see it now! Just glanced at the thumbnail and it's unmistakable! It goes to show you we don't have to stand close to art to appreciate the whole picture!

@Weezilou I wish that I could post the photograph that it was inspired by, but it is a private moment that I do not wish to make public here. The subject, who is the recipient of the painting (once varnished & framed) knew from which its inspiration came and was blown away. She is an art teacher (elementary school) but has never had a painting made of her. To say she liked it is an understatement. I love her.

@jrambo001 What a sweet and touching story. Any woman would love "love and appreciation" like that. My best to you both on this beautiful day...
