A magazine in the 1970's, 'Tactics & Strategy', dedicated to war boardgames, included a game in every monthly issue. These have become collectible among wargame grognards. I took the opportunity, while on vacation, to play through a game- they can take some time to complete.

Wow John... I think perhaps that this is the quintessential magazine a friend in Australia commented about when she once visited me in the states...She was astounded that we had magazines "for everything"! This would be one of them! Yow!

These type of wargames still have a following, but the advent of computer wargames has really eclipsed them.
I like both.
