Letting My LensBaby Freak Flag Fly

First Project 365 Photo with My New LensBaby Muse
I still don't really know what I'm doing with it, but it was fun. I bought it used on eBay for $45, but it didn't come with a manual. I know I can change out the aperture or something with some additional ones I purchase, but instead I probably will just save my money & buy a LensBaby Composer Pro.

I'm still curious to see what one of these Lensbabys looks like! I've read that there are those who love them!

This has worked well. Nice blur. The muse appears much harder to use than the composer pro.

Your titles are consistently entertaining!

Love what you've done with this, and the different areas of focus and blur, fav for me.

@Weezilou @spanner @cejaanderson @tristansmum It has its lens at the end of a short, articulated, flexible section, which is manipulated by bending around & depressing. I suspect that its design was surpassed by their better constructed, newer lens, the Composer (& Composer Pro), which accomplishes the same effect via turning lens the typical way focusing is done. Using this Muse is uncomfortable in that I am mushing the camera into my face, looking through the viewfinder, trying to get the selective focus that I desire.
The choice of subject here was more a function of wanting to try out the lens in a limited amount of time on a break at work.
