I began posting a daily photo in November 2014 so I am well in to my 4th year now. The discipline of posting a picture every day hasn't been a chore - in fact it's provided a real stimulus, not only in photography, but in the art of "looking". I find I am now looking around me much more carefully and closely. While at first I went out looking for things to photograph, I have found that the emphasis has changed in that I go out to look at things primarily and take photographs of what I see. Nearly all of what I photograph is taken while I am out in the countryside walking my Springer Spaniel, Jazmyn, who has had to become very patient with all my stopping and starting! I live in a small village called High Ham perched on a hill above the Somerset Levels and count myself lucky to live in such a beautiful rural part of the UK.
