Another shot from the christmas market yesterday...
didn't shoot because we have a hurricane alert for my city, school ended earlier today and it's not sure if the schools will maybe be closed tomorrow... i hope they are!
Love the lights on what looks like a carousel. Interesting sense of motion in the background.
A hurricane alert? Hmmm, sounds like some interesting photo opportunities! (LOL Last time a hurricane made landfall in RI, I went down to the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier to get photos.)
@kannafoot thanks!
well, the alert for the county of Minden was from today 9am to tomorrow 11am I think. it's already dark now, and this afternoon it didn't look very interesting, just leaves flying around. :(
right now we are in the "eye" of the storm, but it'll be very windy tomorrow, and maybe some snow. I hope so! x3
@justaspark Are hurricanes normal this time of year? Here in RI the hurricane season runs from June to November. A December 'cane would be very unusual. The water is too cold to sustain it.
@kannafoot Quite normal, yes, but not this strong!
It's a low pressure area coming from Norway, England etc. which hit Germany's coast just this morning... now it will be bad weather over the regions of Mecklenburg Lower Pomerania, Schleswig Holstein, Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and NRW (where I live).
