Afternoon Snack by justaspark

Afternoon Snack

Had my first go at street photography today before choir - I only took my Canon P&S because I don't feel ready to do this with my "big" one yet...
So sorry for the bad-ish quality...
I really have to try it more often!

These people are sitting inside a bakery. No one is outside which is no wonder at -1°C...

I'll upload 2 alternatives in my 2nd album:

Das geht mir auch immer so, ich trau mich nicht so richtig. Da Bild wäre bestimmt noch cooler wenn du nur die Leute in der Bäckerei auf dem Bild gehabt hättest. Aber wer will sich schon direkt vor die Scheibe stellen ;)

-1°C? It's a heat wave! We were at -15°C today when I went out for my walk before work. (I don't think I'd be eating outdoors either, today. LOL)

I'd love to see more photos from this outdoor area. The cobblestone and the architecture are fascinating since that type of scene is not common in the States. I love the name of the place! "Back Factory".

A great choice for your street capture - lovely cafe and great composition.

This is a lovely shot, it looks so inviting. -1??? Oh my word!!! Cant believe you are outside. Here I am complaining about +10C!!!

@leananiemand Thanks! Haha, I guess you get used to it if you live in the North - in some winters we get -10 which is also not THAT cold if you see what the US people get at the moment :D

@kannafoot Wow, sounds freezing! o.o
Thank you, that type of architecture is usual in Minden because the city's 1200 years old (I guess not these bulidings, but some like the cathedral are more than 1000!)

@justaspark I absolutely love historical architecture like that! About the oldest we get here dates to the 1600s, and in my area almost everything in that timeframe was destroyed during King Phillip's War. "Old" is anything built before 1900. LOL

This reminds me of when we lived in Germany when my children were very small. Used to love the outdoor eating places. I understand what you mean about using a more discreet camera for street photography. This is a great shot Jule.
