Year 2: 35/365
So as promised yesterday, here is the story why all my friends are in England and I'm not. Prepare to read a bit longer :D
My school has a long history of an exchange with its partner school, the Eltham College in SW London. It's tradition that every year interested 9th graders go there and live in a student's family for 10 days and then in the next year the English people come here. Sadly, there are usually more German interessants than English, and so not everyone from here is taken. I think this year there were about 18 Brits and 30 Germans. Seven from my class, including me. That's why they had some sort of system to determine who is going, and then some weeks ago my friend called me and just told me she got an email that she was allowed to go, as was my other best friend and a very good mate, but not me. :( They flew on Sunday and now I'm here quite alone. One guy I hang out with too is sick, so we're only two friends left now. But we DO know how to have a good time: Today in a substitute lesson we sat there with his laptop on our desk and listened to music. The teacher didn't care. :D

The picture shows me wearing my I love London sweater I naturally own - wearing it all the time this week :)
