Michelham Priory

Michelham Priory is set on a tranquil island surrounded by England’s longest water-filled medieval moat. The Tudor mansion evolved from the former Augustinian Priory.
The house dates back to 1229 when the Priory was founded and was lived in by Augustinian canons until the Dissolution in 1537. It became a gentleman’s residence in Tudor times and then later a working farm.
Nice shot of Michelham Priory! I love the Priory - only round the corner from where my foilks live!
