OK, so a different photo for today! My friend Austen has just shaved his head and had a full body wax to raise money for a trip to Uganda in October.
He is raising money for the Let Them Help Themselves out of Poverty (LTHTP) organisation. LTHTP helps to find funding for charitable projects in Africa and especially in the village of Ruhanga in south west Uganda where Austen will be staying during his trip.
He is planning on staying out there volunteering for 6 months, but may stay for up to a year if funds allow. I wish him the best of luck, and I'm proud of him for doing all the fundraising that he has done so far, but especially todays wax!
