Saga celebrated the Winter Solstice by venturing out to the field. Cats are allowed to go there only in winter, as in warmer months it's snake-danger zone. When she managed through the bushes, she suddenly stopped and stared at something for several minutes. I believe she was baffled by the neighbours' new house. They started to build it in spring, so she probably saw it the first time. Humans can see it from the yard, but the feline perspective is another matter. Afterwards exploring the field she stopped now and then, looking at the house again as if to make sure it was real.
