Cold feet..

I bet this little guy had cold feet as he stood on the ice today. Not that birds have feeling in their feet of course. Does anyone know what kind of bird he is? I thought he was a seagull at first but now I'm not too sure.

Great composition Kim, yes it is one of the small one, not sure of the right name. I now it as the Little gull. always a dash of colour on each side of head. The Little Gull, Hydrocoloeus minutus or Larus minutus, is a small gull which breeds in northern Europe and Asia.
