This little boy had a rough day today. First of all he was thrown, in a cardboard box, from a moving car as his former owners obviously did not want him anymore. Thankfully the daughter of one of my work colleagues spotted them and pulled over to see this little face peering up at her from the box. She drove him home, fed him, bathed him and then took him to the vet to find out that he was about 8 weeks old and 10lbs. She then drove him to our office where my boss had offered to adopt him. He was so adorable and playful and loved being held. I get so angry when I hear of people doing things like this to innocent little animals but am so happy that today he was saved :)
Update 6/9/12 They decided to change his name to Bear :)
I believe there is a hot room in hell for people who abuse animals. What a sad and glorious story! Everything deserves a chance. I'm so happy he's got a loving home... poor, POOR critter. Lovely picture.
I am thrilled about the happy ending. I can never understand how people can be so cruel. I feel blessed that I found our dog 7 yrs ago and saved her. That's another story ;-) This is a sweet photo of this little angel.
