The backlighting is a good idea but the church itself looks rather gloomy. Of course this may be your intention - to represent 'the shadow of religion' or how 'the concept of faith can offer refuge from the glare of the word'. An image with different meanings and that's always a good idea.
@clive_crhfoto I did want it to look gloomy, the original was in broad daylight sun-lit from behind but I wanted a gloomy/spooky feel. Thanks for your comment, I like your take on it.
