Apparently I have better luck drawing Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef than I do my own self… In order to be somewhat recognizable, I felt compelled to superimpose onto my awful drawing an actual photo of my face (as it tried to channel its inner Eli Wallach). Not thrilled with the results, it looked a lot better in my head!
If you aren’t familiar with this epic 1966 ‘Spaghetti Western’ directed by Sergio Leone, you might at least recognize Ennio Morricone’s iconic theme played during the climactic three-way standoff scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_zeiKrRTuk . I just remember watching this as a child and it was such a great western...
So I drew the thing, took a picture of the drawing, didn't like my face, took a picture of my face, and well here it is. A bit of an odd photo but hey, it’s always worth giving it a shot and trying out new things, so won't you play along with the 5+2 "ugly" theme this week?
@photographycrazy aw shucks I'm fairly sure that's inaccurate but thank you Bill! @annied hahaha no no, the faces are where they belong ;) @yaorenliu I thank you very much Yao :) @alia_801 thanks Alia! @mona65 haha you must be looking from far away on a tiny phone then Mona ;) :) @swillinbillyflynn thank you Mr Billy Flynn :)
Brilliant idea! A* for the artwork too. I like the decision to mix your drawn face with a photo it works perfectly. The side of your eye stare is spot on too
