Nothing to see here - not a good weekend for photos, so here's a filler from almost three weeks ago. You'll notice that nothing whatsoever is straight in this shot. Not sure what I was thinking while shooting, not sure what I'm thinking posting. Eh.
Incidentally, this is outside the little coffee shop I mentioned on April 3rd, citing the 'the big coffee chain where the masses robotically accumulate' which you might notice in the background (just the symbol)!
I like the selective color and I don't think anything should be straight here - It's all very dynamic and chaotic, just like the street life is. It's very cool that there are so many signs in the photo that all together make one nice chaotic message.
I like this shot very much, and I agree with Vera that nothing needs to be straight. It all matches in the feeling of the street and signs. Very cool that the symbol is in the background, and how could you not choose the coffee shop with the Bowie sign? Nice use of selective color too.
