This morning, I went to put my shoes to go to work, and as I slipped my left foot in, I met resistance. I consider myself a fairly seasoned parent at this point, but I was still hoping it was a mere toy... and it was. If there's ever a clear sign of the fact that you're a parent... this is one of the finest ones.
