:) Oh I hear you! Since the discovery of the Kindle, my "start the book and finish it some day" has gone out of hand. The good thing is - if you ARE in the mood for that specific book, the kindle opens it up right where you left it :) I like the light in here and - of course the books.
It saddens me that as much as I love physical books, being quite badly dyslexic, I find reading Kindle versions on my widescreen laptop with a large typeface is so much easier for me. I find I fall asleep very quickly with a book (common dyslexic problem) and a novel can take me a month to get through. On the laptop I can (and often do) read right through the night and finish a novel in a couple of days. Kindle bookmarks are also very useful. as books often fall out of my hand when I nod off and I don't have a clue where I am when I come back to them. :)
