@richfletcher The Reddish Egret is not common here! I grew up in Long Beach (near the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve) and this is the first time I've seen one!!

@kerristehpens Oh that makes it so much better!!! Ive been trying to get a really good shot of a blue heron, also not common here.. (Ontario, Canada) Ive have a couple of so-so ones but nothing like yours. Awesome.

@richfletcher A Great Blue Heron? Those are common here! Although, I didn't seen many on my last trip to the Ecological Reserve! I'm sure your heron photos are excellent!!

This is rare around here,but I heard of one down at the slough awhile back. I tried several times but never found it. Wonderful find, great capture!
