Sadly this is tonally very much the same. You really need to lighten the face of the monkey so that the eye goes where you want it to go. At the moment the monkey dissolves into the background. Hope you don't mind the critique?

A great shot, Kerri. It is hard to get the clarity you may want when the background is so close to the color of this monkey. I love all the detail.
