Lincoln on Ice

Following yesterday's snowstorm, the weather in D.C. turned cold and clear. A co-worker and I took a very quick walk in subzero wind chills today to capture this photo of the memorial.

Such a clear deep blue sky. It must be cold.

The contrast of the sky, bushes, and snow is nice and the upward shot to the monument is a great angle.

@rytoonz @deborahortiz Thank you both! It was dang cold today. For a moment, the temperature in D.C. was colder than in Iowa and that's saying something!
