"Give me liberty or give me death!"

My husband and I were in Richmond, Virginia, today for his swearing-in ceremony for the Virginia Bar. Following the ceremony, we visited St. John's Episcopal Church where Patrick Henry gave his "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech on March 23, 1775, to the Second Virginia Convention. The church was built in 1741.
