Autumn Harvest by khawbecker

Autumn Harvest

Two Fuji apples, a Mutsu apple, an Asian pear, and a Honey Crisp apple. Can you tell which one is which?
The Asian pear is on the extreme left, the Fuji's are the 2nd from left, and the extreme right, the Musu is the larges yellow one, and I would say that the Honey Crispy is in the middle, since it''s my favorite (I eat one per day) Very nice composition. Did I pass the test? LOL. Very nice display.

@anazad511 You nailed it! :) You know your apples and pears.

Not me, but Gala's are my favorite, although they need to be labeled as such! Lovely fall tableau.

Lovely shot. I can't tell which is which on all of them.

L to R - Asian pear, fuji, honey crisp, mutsu, fuji. How close am I?

Oh, and PS, that's a really nice-looking dogwood in the background! I miss seeing those; we had them in Virginia where I grew up, but they don't grow in my part of Indiana.

Fun display!!! We eat Fuji at our house, so I picked them out, and I knew the honey crisp was the one in the middle. Like they say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"

I was going to say pretty much the same order as Ana, so that makes me feel pretty good since I've never seen an Asian Pear or a Mutsu Apple before! Love Honey Crisps and wish they weren't so pricey! This shot has a great Autumnal feeling. Very nice!

@hoosierhokie You nailed it, Becca! :) And thanks for noticing the Dogwood tree in the background. Good observation!

@lealady Thanks, Leah! You know you're apples. :)

@olivetreeann Thanks, Ann. You'd like the Asian pear especially. Mutsus are close to Granny Smith, though not quite as tart. Asian pears are quite juicy and sweet. I found a farmer who sells all of his apples for the same price per pound, including the Honey Crisp. Bonus!

@lesip Thanks, Leslie. It's a great time of year to try new varieties. I got these at a local farmers market.

Beautiful display!

Not at all but I want to try them all

Lovely composition, dof and light; I also love the shadows. Fav for me. I enjoy several kinds of apples--especially a really good Braeburn or Jonagold (the New Zealand ones are wonderful). Pink Ladies are good too.
