This was taken in my dining room with available light, which made for a long exposure. I put my camera on the GorillaPod and sat on the floor behind it using my smartphone as a remote. I do love my techie toys! BTW, this was shot RAW and converted to JPG with no further processing...whether this is a good or bad thing is undetermined at the moment.
My Olympus has built-in WiFi, as does my phone, and this connection is in the camera design. This made the setup very easy. The directions came with the camera. I have an android phone, and the needed app for the controls is free in the Google Playstore. It's called Olympus Image Share or OI Share. I have a remote for my Nikon 5100, and this takes its place for the Olympus. The app has a few other features for social media, but I doubt I'll use them much. I've only had my Olympus a few weeks, and I'm liking it a whole lot. Big learning curve coming from Nikon though. BTW, I haven't checked, but the app probably exists somewhere for the iPhone.
