Never tried it roasted - must have a go - do you parboil it first? a poetic shot of the humble cauliflower!

Thanks for the kind comments! Hazel, roasted cauliflower is the best. I separate it into biggish florets - 2 to 3 inches across - and cut with one flat side if they are thick. I put them in the microwave for maybe 3 minutes before roasting on a flat cookie pan until they are starting to brown. I like to marinate briefly in a mixture of balsamic vinegar and tamari sauce before roasting. Usually add a few herbs to the mixture. Some people use olive oil to coat, but we can't eat oil, so I don't. BTW, the converter app on my phone says that 2 inches is a bit over 5 centimeters. I hope that's correct. I don't do metric unaided. :-)
