Mississippi Beach

I've been out of town and dealing with a family issue since I got back. Camera and commenting time has been nonexistent. This is the view that punctuated my life until I left home. If you look carefully at the horizon, you can see the barrier islands that create the Mississippi Sound. The water is shallow and warm until you get aways out from the shore.

I'll look forward to meeting you sometime! I was only passing through NO on the way to and from MS. This wasn't a vacation; I needed to deal with some family business and check on some things. I stayed pretty busy the whole time. The picture was taken in Long Beach. I just pulled into a parking bay and shot away.
