Each summer I grow basil and make what I used to think was plenty of pesto to freeze for use throughout the winter. That was until the teens in the family realized how good pesto tastes! Now I end up making the basil pesto recipe by #giadadelaurentiis several times throughout the winter. Pesto on pasta, bread, salmon, shrimp, or pretty much anything.
