Shallot

Yesterday we harvested our shallots, garlic and potatoes and picked some nectarines. The shallots this year were huge. Love using produce straight from the garden - nothing tastes better.

I've never seen a shallot before, but always wondered what they were. Thank you for educating me!

@mrssheep It's a member of the onion family. They are usually much smaller, but this season ours are enormous for some reason. Usually sweeter than an onion.
