This was about 4m above ground level in a large Magnolia tree at the nursery. A bit past its best, but unfortunately I hadn't noticed it earlier to get a shot when it was in its prime! I love the bronze colour on the underside of the dark green glossy leaves.
I love their scent, but the flowers never stay for long in good shape, interesting leaves, as compared to by grandiflora, which does not have bronze undersides, though the "Little Gem" does in that family.
