Rose 'Fantin Latour' by kiwiflora

Rose 'Fantin Latour'

From my garden, a beautiful cabbage (or centifolia) rose. Named for Henri Fantin-Latour (14 January 1836 – 25 August 1904), a French painter and lithographer best known for his flower paintings and group portraits of Parisian artists and writers. It is an old variety of rose, dating back to the early 1900's.
Fav, stuning framing, soft delicate and lovely pink.

This could have been painted by the master himself. I do love these old fashioned roses.

@snaphappi Thanks Maggie - I also prefer the old fashioned ones - I have another one called Abraham Darby (link below to photo) - the fragrance on both of them is wonderful.
