Amanita muscaria

Another one of the toadstools I shot earlier in the week. After downloading to the computer I only then noticed that just about every one had a fly sitting right in the middle! Perhaps that is why they are commonly known as fly amanita?

Awesome! I have a very dear friend who loves going out hunting mushrooms. This is a fantastic photo. I saw one of these in the Highlands last year and as @anazad511 thought, had previously thought these were only in fairytales. So cool to see in real life!
