No time for photos today - Black Friday lived up to its reputation. First the HP (2 hours online to support people resulted in a long reset - which of course didn't work) Then my precious MacBook crashed into a black screen. Both are being sent off to their respective 'hospitals' this week. If you look closely you can see my pale self reflecting in the reset screen. Its been a difficult day or two! I'm almost too scared to touch my desktop Mac and make it three.
@kali66@photobird@happypat Yep it was such a bad day - and I'm still waiting for the courier for the HP. I'll have to be my own courier for my MacBook so it will be a drive to Nelson so perhaps I can get in some shopping and photography then. Thanks all for your sympathy.
@robz UnfortunatelyI think I will lose everything on my MacBook but I haven't got it back yet so here's hoping. I had taken off quite a few of my Australian trip raw files so all is not lost. I really need to get an external backup drive!
@kiwinanna I know how you feel - it's such a nuisance always backing up - especially photos - they take up so much space. But, it's just so awful when you lose them! You are so lucky you still have some of your aussie photos! :)
